An Amazing New Chapter!

During the months of February and March of 2022, a five room Children’s Ministry building was constructed on the property of HERE AM I Ministries in Buwembula. Uganda.

As of this writing 222 students were enrolled. One hundred of those students are on scholarship. A student's tuition is currently $25.00 per month. plus uniform. They are also required to supply 1/2 kilo of food per month to supply the pantry. Currently we have classes students in Pre-School through 5th Grade. However, we are trusting God to grow this ministry into a full K-12 school - even praying to possibly become a boarding school. Additionally, we pray to add a Vo-tech option to the campus.
This new ministry currently employs 13 people and needs more workers, including teachers and support staff. A teacher's salary is $100.00 per month. But, given the inflating economy, this needs to increase. Our prayer is that God will stir the hearts of His people to support the teachers. Whereas many get excited to “sponsor “ a child or children, supporting the teachers impacts ALL the children in attendance and not just the children who receive a sponsor.
There are lots of needs to be praying for as you lift up HERE AM I Ministries. We will need to build a better kitchen and an office building, another building to hold more classrooms, and the staff needs mentioned above.
