If you've visited the "Ministries" tab on the site you might have read about Lydiah - a single mother active in the ministry in Kenya, she teaches young women how to sew. And, if you've visited the "Donate" tab, you might have seen she is one of the folks you can choose to support financially. And now, if you'd like, if you donate a minimum of $20 to support Lydiah, she will make you a handmade African shirt, which David will bring back to the USA in March.
If you'd like donate to help Lydiah, please give you're amount through the "Donate" tab above. Be sure to click on the "Write Us a Comment" box and tell us if you want a shirt or not, and leave a size estimate. Remember, we are a 501c3 Tax-Exempt Organization, so your donations can be used as a tax write-off. We appreciate all the prayers and support. Please be in prayer for David's upcoming trip in January. He is visiting Calvary Chapel Raccoon River Valley tomorrow to discuss the ministry in Africa with the fellowship there. And the following weekend David and Josh will be at Rolling Meadows Christian church to do the same. God bless you all!

Prior to the trip to Kenya and Uganda in August 2018, Josh and David shared at Calvary Chapel St. Joseph in St. Joseph, Missouri about making chlorine and starting Here Am I Bible School. Today, Josh returned to St. Joseph to share about the trip, updating folks on the work that was done, the people we met, and a little about what we'd like to do next. It was a good time getting to fellowship and talking with folks about what God is doing in Africa, and also what God is doing in Josh's heart through it all. Thanks to Calvary Chapel St. Joseph for having us!
Also, David will be speaking in Panora, Iowa next Sunday, Nov. 18th at Calvary Chapel Raccoon River Valley, and Josh will be leading worship (no Africa presentation, but hey, come say "Hi") at Calvary Chapel Columbia in Columbia, MO the same day. Lastly, both Josh and David will be at Rolling Meadows Christian Church in Odessa, MO Nov. 25th. If you're around those days, come see us! Finally, Bishop Musyoka from Nairobi got to visit Here Am I Bible School last week and taught some classes. From what we hear, he was a huge blessing, and based off his teaching when David and Josh visited, we're sure his teachings were solid. It's great to see God make connections between the countries and what a blessing to see people working together for the same goals - TO TEACH THE WORD FROM THE WORD, THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD! David is excited to get to return to the work in January, and is beyond blessed to get to work alongside strong brothers. Please continue to pray for God's direction as David prepares to return, especially concerning the future of the school, the places he can visit, and provision for all of it. God bless you all. |
