We've been trying to spread the word about what we're doing in Africa and we're really hoping to visit some churches to talk to people directly. And, November is a busy month! The dates are listed below:
If you're available to come see us on these dates and you live nearby, stop in and say "hi." You can click on the church names above to visit their websites and get directions if you plan on visiting with us. We're so blessed to be a part of God's work in Africa, and we are blessed to get to talk about it! December has some scheduled events as well, and we'll update on those soon. And, if you have a church or group you'd like us to visit, please contact us! hereamiafrica@gmail.com

Here's the next step in our outreach: YOUTUBE. We are really wanting to share what God's doing in Africa. We hope these are a blessing to you all!
While we're preparing pastors to teach the whole Bible, we're also trying to give them the skills they need to make a living themselves, that they wouldn't have to glean heavily off the congregations, who are already struggling as it is. And, we'd really like the students to be invested in the school as well, using the skills they're learning while at the school to help improve the school facilities. As of right now all the students sleep on mats on the concrete floor, as we simply do not have the funds to buy beds. However, the welding class has started using their skills to build beds for facility, and the first one has been completed. Check out the pictures below of the bed, and some a couple other shots of school life. We have heard from Morrice, Rael's husband, about Rael's situation. The doctors are wanting to do a surgery to clean out the infection in her hip, however it seems the process is being drug out to some extent. Much prayer is needed for her - prayer for healing, good doctors, and funding for her travel to and from the doctor, medical bills, medicine, etc.
School is in session in Africa, and culinary class is doing GREAT. According to Pastor Jackson, the chocolate cake was fantastic. Check out the pictures below. Lastly, David Spencer is planning on returning to Africa in January 2019. We are asking for prayer concerning some possible places he might be visiting (due to security risks, we cannot share where). But, because God is faithful, David is faithful to go where God leads. It seems the word about chlorine production is spreading to many communities, and even countries. And with the chlorine units comes the gospel and love of Jesus. So, we are praying for clear paths for David, wisdom in his preparations for travel and teachings, that the finances would come in, and that God would prepare those who will hear from David, that they would be ready to receive the Word. And, Praise God for the visits we will be making to some churches we've contacted, where we'll share the ministry with others in America! After our return from Kenya and Uganda in mid-September, we've really felt the need to spread the word about what's going on in the ministry. So much support poured in for this last trip, and we really want to keep everyone as updated as we can as the ministry grows. Therefore, the new website is up and we're really hoping to get the word out, share at more churches, and continue the work God has started in Africa. Thanks to all who have supported us as the ministry has grown. God is amazing and has opened doors we had never really expected. What a blessing to be used for His work! So, please, check out the site, stay in touch, and feel free to contact us with questions (and, let us know if you come across a typo on the new site...).
